What is the WRSC?

Student Council meets twice a month usually on the first and third Monday in room 231 to discuss upcoming events and any new business within the school. Student Council's goals are to:
   A. Promote student participation in the affairs of their Community and School.
   B. Serve as a channel for the expression of student opinion.
   C. Support organizational activities at the school.
   D. Encourage the development of student responsibility, character, leadership, scholarship, and citizenship.
   E. To serve as a leader in the school community.


Your Government


Legislative Branch

The Senate was created by Article II of the June 2, 2008 WRSC Constitution and is composed of one and two year Senators elected from each class, Class officers, and Representatives from the Various Clubs and School Organizations that are recognized by the WRSC.


Executive Branch

The Executive Branch was created by Article III of the June 2, 2008 WRSC Constitution; composed of 8 members, both elected and appointed.


Judicial Branch

The Judicial Branch was created by Article IV of the June 2, 2008 WRSC Constitution; replacing the Internal Affairs Committee, the Judicial Branch represents Woodlands first such body.
